The bike was in its third year of production and followed the same recipe without any modifications. The 2007 machine stood out with its unique features, including profoundly valanced front and rear fenders, a chromed headlight, fuel tank mounted instruments, a semi-swept handlebar, and a floorboard with a heel-and-toe shifter, enhancing its retro style. In addition, the rider's comfort was enhanced by a low and firmly padded seat, while the dual chromed exhaust system offered a deep throaty sound typical to a V-twin cruiser machine. The tank-mounted instrument cluster featured a chrome housing with a speedometer, odometer, trip meter, indicator lights, neutral indicator, oil pressure, and coolant temperature. The electric speedometer featured easy-to-read classic numerals, and the sensor was mounted in the transmission instead of on the front wheel. In the power department, the 2007 Honda VTX1300R was powered by a 1,312cc liquid-cooled V-twin engine that delivered an output power of 74 hp with a peak at 5,000 rpm and 123 Nm (91 lb-ft) of torque at 3,000 rpm. The braking performance was handled by a dual-piston caliper with a 336 mm disc mounted on the front and a 296 mm disc engaged by a single-piston caliper on the rear for strong stopping power.
